While Wraith of God doesn’t contain much of what you might call “sexy horror,” I thought readers and fans of horror comics might find this amazing work worth checking out.
Written and illustrated by famed comic book artist Aaron Lopresti, the first Wraith of God book is a great mix of horror, the wild west, and werewolves!
Here is the review I just uploaded to Youtube.

Richard Elfman’s The Forbidden Zone Director’s Cut Blu-ray
The Forbidden Zone (1980 Dir. Richard Elfman)
I remember seeing The Forbidden Zone for the first time at a cinema in Hollywood circa 1980. I was totally into punk and alternative rock but I was never prepared for Richard Elfman’s insane musical masterpiece starring Hervé Villechaize, Marie-Pascale Elfman (former wife of the director), Susan Tyrrell, Joe Spinell, and Mathew Bright who would go on to direct the cult classic FREEWAY starring Reese Witherspoon.
Shot in glorious 16mm black and white, The Forbidden Zone is loaded with amazing musical numbers by The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo led by the great Danny Elfman, Richard’s brother.
There’s a lot of slapstick comedy, sexy babes, and plenty of nudity in this low budget masterpiece and Elfman’s director’s cut of The Forbidden Zone has recently been released on blu-ray with a ton of extras including:- High Definition (1080p) color presentation of the main feature in 1.78:1 aspect ratio
- Audio: DTS 5.1 Surround
- English Subtitles
- NEW! Introduction by Director Richard Elfman
- NEW! Forbidden Zone Theme: Richard Elfman Beats Danny Elfman!

Horror Anthology Movie Volume One on Amazon Prime
As a filmmaker, occasionally I’ll toot my own horn on this site if I have something new or of possible interest to those viewers who like a little bit of sex and titillation with their video nasties!
My 2013 produced anthology film “Horror Anthology Movie Vol. One” is now on Amazon Prime.
It features approximately six segments of sci-fi / horror clocking in at approximately two hours long.
It’s a definite hard “R” because of two segments with nudity and sexual situations and a third segment with ample titillation so it qualifies as a sexy horror.
Short synopsis of segments in Horror Anthology Movie Vol. 1:
THE CORDYCEPS PRINCIPLE
A sociopathic photographer dreams of killing his domineering and indifferent wife. On a routine photography expedition, he stumbles upon a sinister solution that could take care of his little problem.FIVE MILES STRAIGHT AHEAD
During World War 2, four soliders encounter real horror when they are sent to find a German squadron.THE THING IN THE SHED
One dark and stormy night. Stanley receives the unexpected visit from his friend Martin who arrives acting very strangely, carrying a mysterious black box. Before the night is over they will discover its terrifying secret.SECTION 49
A theater. A tank. A technician. A hooker. A hustler.BLOOD OF A SAINT
Tormented by feelings of sexual inadequacy, Monty enlists the aid of the nefarious Doctor Eenweiss.FOOTAGE FOUND, ARABI
In 1932, writer H.P. Lovecraft visited New Orleans. From old recovered film footage, we discover that some of his fiction is based upon terrifying reality. -
Seductive Ingrid Pitt Stars in THE VAMPIRE LOVERS
The Vampire Lovers (Hammer Films 1970)
Ingrid Pitt is one of the most iconic sexy horror actors of all time, and when the subject of hottest female vampires comes up, Ingrid is typically at the top of the list.
While it’s great to see both Countess Dracula (1971) and The Vampire Lovers (1970) get their special Collector’s Edition releases, the latter is without a doubt the superior Ingrid Pitt film. That being said, both of these blu-ray releases show Ingrid in all of her sexy glory!
Based upon Sheridan Le Fanu’s classic tale “Carmilla,” The Vampire Lovers follows our seductive vampire Carmilla Karnstein (Ingrid Pitt) and her family as they target the beautiful and the rich in a remote area of late eighteenth-century Gemany.
The Vampire Lovers Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is really done right, with features including:- 4K Scan from the Original Camera Negative

Sexy Elvira HORROR Action Figures
I spent the entire 1980s living in southern California and watching Elvira’s Movie Macabre on KHJ TV out of Los Angeles. In 1980, KHJ began looking for that certain special horror host with a mix of nostalgia, horror, and of course, sex appeal. Enter one Cassandra Peterson, fresh from an acting stint in Europe. She returned to Los Angeles in 1979 just in time to audition for the horror host role of ELVIRA which launched on KHJ TV in 1981.
In 1982, Elvira hosted the first ever 3D horror show on TV. “I did the first 3D television show that had ever been broadcast and they sold 3D glasses at 7-Eleven. I think they sold the glasses for $3 a pair and the show only aired in LA and I think they sold something like 2.7 million pairs of glasses,” Peterson recalled. I remember getting the glasses at a 7-11 lol.
Elvira’s Movie Macabre lasted from 1981 to 1986 and after that, Peterson made multiple Elvira movies and countless TV and convention appearances as the seductive and hilarious horror queen. And don’t forget the comic books!
Now you can get two amazing Elvira action figures, but fair warning, these figures sell like hotcakes so if you’re interested in bringing the sexy horror host into your home, you should quick!

New FRANK FRAZETTA Book Cover Art – The Definitive Reference
When watching videos from comic book artists and illustrators, there are several artists from the past whose names are inevitably invoked. Bernie Wrightson, Dave Stevens, Alex Schomburg, and Richard Corben, to name a few. But the name that pops up most often among both pros and fans alike is Frank Frazetta.
Comic book artist, illustrator, and painter in league with the modern masters, Frazetta is known worldwide for such amazing works as “Death Dealer,” “Conan the Barbarian,” “Woman with Scythe,” “The Egyptian Queen,” and countless others.
There are dozens of books on Frazetta and perhaps hundreds more that at least have a chapter or mentions of his works, and now there is a fantastic new book recently shown by master comic book artist Aaron Lopresti on his youtube channel entitled Frazetta Book Cover Art: The Definitive Reference (sept 2022) featuring an amazing selection of works Frazetta painted for books including Conan, Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, Tales from the Crypt, and more.
This stunning guide to the world of horror, science fiction, and fantasy books illustrated by the master features eye popping scenes of sexy women, muscle bound barbarians, and other worldly creatures that graced the covers of paperbacks and hardcovers for decades, and now, you can see Frazetta’s prolific contribution to these classic tomes in one book.
Frazetta Book Cover Art: The Definitive Reference is on sale now. -
Trick ‘r Treat Sexy Halloween Werewolves Vs Vampires
Trick ‘r Treat (2007) directed by Michael Dougherty, starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, and Amy Esterle, is undeniably one of the best Halloween themed horror films out there. Considering that there are relatively few Halloween films in the sub-genre, it’s not saying much, but as a horror film it stands on its own and at least in one scene, delivers the sexy goods.
Trick ‘r Treat is a horror anthology movie consisting of five different intertwined stories – Introduction, The Principal, School Bus Massacre Revisited, Surprise Party, and Meet Sam. All the segments are successful to some degree but the standout for me has to be “Surprise Party” starring Anna Paquin and Amy Esterle. Not since The Howling (1981) has a werewolf film exuded such brazen and sexy horror with a fair dose of comedy. Paquin and Esterle really turn up the heat when the “party” gets in gear and it’s werewolves versus vampires! If you’re into bodacious werewolf babes getting nude and lewd, then this segment of Trick ‘r Treat is right up your alley!
Released a few years ago, the Trick ‘r Treat Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is a sight to behold with many features including:- NEW 2K Scan Of The Original Film Elements Supervised And Approved By Director Michael Dougherty

Horror Comic Book Wulf and Batsy From Alterna Comics
Bryan Baugh’s Wulf and Batsy comic book series from Alterna Comics.
I’ve been reading Alterna Comics for years now, starting back in 2016 with Alterna founder and owner Peter Simetti’s “The Chair” series that was made into a feature film starring Bill Oberst Jr., Naomi Grossman, Zach Galligan, and Roddy Piper in what would be his last film.
Since then, I’ve enjoyed Alterna titles like Blood Realm, Legends of Log, It Came Out on a Wednesday, and others. As of 2020, Alterna added a new comic book title called Wulf and Batsy which has quickly become my favorite book from the company.
With liberal doses of horror and comedy, Bryan Baugh’s Wulf and Batsy is a wildly entertaining series invoking both 1950s pre-code horror comics and 1970s underground comics with the often hyper-violent “Wulf” and his constant companion, the tempting and sexy “Batsy” as they find themselves battling all manner of monsters…and humans in their crazy adventures.
Falling just short of an “R” rating, the Alterna series provides enough gore and titillation to keep even the most rabid of fans happy.
Bryan Baugh’s highly entertaining comic book sensation has been around for years and I recently discovered he had released a few volumes of Wulf and Batsy through his own imprint, Cryptic Comics, circa 2011. These volumes total more than five hundred pages, so the Alterna line is presenting both reprinted and brand new material from Baugh for their series.
The Fall 2022 Alterna Comics campaign is underway with only nine days left, so if you want to get your claws on some new Wulf and Batsy along with other titles in the line up, visit the Indiegogo page soon. You can also get back issues direct from Alterna Comics website. -
Brian DePalma’s Dressed to Kill Starring Nancy Allen Michael Caine
Dressed to Kill (1980 dir. Brian DePalma)
Standing alongside such cinematic greats as Francis Ford Coppola, William Friedkin, and Stanley Kubrick, director Brian DePalma is one of the most influential filmmakers in history. Films like Phantom of the Paradise, Carrie, Scarface, The Untouchables, Body Double (which we will definitely cover here) and of course, Dressed to Kill, spawned countless imitations and fledgling directors trying to grasp some of that DePalma magic in their productions. But there is only one Brian DePalma, and there is only one Dressed to Kill. This 1980 horror – thriller starring Michael Caine, Nancy Allen, and Angie Dickenson, was certainly influenced by Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, but the amazing visual style of DePalma created a signature work all his own.
Beyond all of the genius cinematic and editing skills DePalma possesses, one of the things I love about many of his movies is that titillating merger of sex and violence. The camera voyeuristically lingers on half dressed or brazenly nude heroines, moving in slow motion while they remain oblivious to the imminent danger that lurks in the shadows right behind them.
From the IMDB description of Dressed to Kill: “A mysterious blonde woman kills one of a psychiatrist’s patients, and then goes after the high-class call girl who witnessed the murder.”
Both Nancy Allen and Angie Dickenson steam up the lense and Michael Caine digs into his role as Doctor Robert Elliot with wicked glee.
This is what sexy horror is all about folks, and if you haven’t seen Dressed to Kill it is now available on a two disc 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray with the following features:DISC 1 (4KUHD):
